ABOUT ME
I am from Houston, Texas and moved to Kentucky at 18 to pursue my education at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU). Throughout my life and experience at EKU studying Broadcasting and Electronic Media, I have been able to learn more about the directing and editing process, craft skills in script writing, and develop a passion for film that will carry me into my career. I enjoy watching and studying film and learning about the creativity process. Through this, I have developed a goal for my future to transform my passion for film into a career that will allow me to share this with others. MY EXPERIENCE
Background & Expertise
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
March 2020 - May 2020
I led in creating videos for documentaries and the editing process. My position required me to excel in producing videos and other forms of media.
FILMING CREW, ESPN PLUS
September 2019 - March 2020
In filming for ESPN plus, I participated in multiple positions in recording for the EKU Sports games including: basketball, baseball, and softball games participating in camera work and filming during the game and working as technical director.
LINE OPERATOR, HITACHI
May 2016 - June 2016
My position required me to improve operations by decreasing overall waste in the company as well as administering procedures to ensure products were handled correctly.
DAYTIME STOCKER

In this position I executed and oversaw daytime operations in my department, operated the aquatics department, and maintained organization and cleanliness of the section.
EDUCATION
What I've learned and writing samples
August 2018 - December 2018
SCREENWRITING
This course was used to educate me and craft screen writing skills. Once these skills were developed, I wrote and edited a movie script and developed a greater understanding of the creative and screen writing processes.
August 2019 - December 2019
This course focused on unbiased media writing and reporting of facts including forming articles, editing news pieces, writing press releases, and publishing pieces of writing to the Eastern Progress.
INTRODUCTION TO MEDIA WRITING

PERFORMANCE AND ELECTRONIC MEDIA
This course focused on editing music and audio recordings from film and television and taught me how to create and edit an audio track.
